You want the opportunity to become more than just a standard OT, because you know that you can deliver much, much more.

You’re an experienced OT who is looking for full-time hours, or perhaps you’re balancing family and work responsibilities and are interested in working 4 days a week in a role that allows you to manage the demands of your personal and professional life.

Good news!  An opportunity is waiting for you at Kids First Children’s Services.

About Us

Kids First is an established, award-winning and family owned private practice with a stellar reputation for clinical excellence and for the fun and friendly way in which we help children to achieve excellent outcomes.

Since 2007, our experienced team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, child psychologists and teachers has helped more than 10,000 northern beaches children and their families.

With almost 11 years’ history, we are expanding in order to meet our community’s needs.

Children and families come to us through frequent word of mouth recommendations, medical referrals and our strong networks in the local community, so we’re looking for a personable and outgoing Occupational Therapist who shares our core values and is driven to develop and excel in private practice.

Our vision

At Kids First, our core values are care, kindness and compassion.

We are proud of our reputation for ‘walking the talk’ and living these every day as we help children to achieve their goals.

Our culture is positive, supportive and responsive and we know that the quality of our professional relationships is reflected in the high calibre of care that we provide to our clients and community.

And ‘our kids’ and their families are not the only people we care about….

We care about you as much as you care about the clients you work with.

We know that to do your job well, you need support, opportunity and the right tools.

We’ll provide you with excellent facilities, including fully equipped therapy rooms and sensory gyms.

We’ll make your life easier with a fast and convenient on-line practice management program that makes writing case notes and doing admin more efficient.

Our full-time professional customer service team will provide you with all the back-up you’ll need so that you can focus on your clinical role.

Because professional development is important, we’ll provide you with regular mentoring and continued learning opportunities.

And we’ll offer an attractive salary with great performance incentives, so you’ll be rewarded for your hard work too.

Not just ‘Any OT’

We are not looking for just ‘any OT’ – but someone who will grow with Kids First.

We’re looking for someone who is a team player.  Someone who is a passionate and professional role model with excellent clinical skills and a kind heart.

Does this sound like you?

If you are the person we’re looking for, you’ll be joining a growing team of 4 OTs, 5 speech pathologists, 3 psychologists and 4 teachers and you’ll be ready to dive enthusiastically into the next phase of your career.

If you are an experienced OT who wants to expand your career opportunities, reach your true potential and enjoy the benefits of working in a private practice where people really matter, we would love to meet you.

What’s next?

We know that ‘fit’ is the most important criteria when selecting professionals to join the Kids First team.

If you’re to be Kids First’s newest OT, you’ll need to apply now because interest is high and, as much as we’d like to, we can’t interview or employ everyone!
